Been awhile!

I know it has been a while,,,, Computer has been acting weird, plus life has been soooo hectic.... lets see....
In june, chantal celebrated her 15th birthday... where does time go? Then the end of June, Norms mom was admitted into hospice. She passed away the beginning of July! It was very emotional..We spent alot of time going to the beach this summer because she loved the beach.. The end of july we did our annual camping trip, we went to black rock, while we were there, Pam's father passed away.. In august we did day trips!.. Then chantal started her sophmore year @ derby high... She loves it.. In october we took a trip to wilmington Nc. because we knew Norms dad was not doing well.. we only went for a long weekend. boy am i glad we went because on nov 11th he passed away having a test done. so on the 12th of november we went back down for the funeral.. I promise I will try to write more often...

Well this past Saturday norm and i decided for this family to get cell phones. we decided to surprise chantal so we went by ourselves. after we got the phones i called her from my new phone, i had to cal 2x becuase she did not recognize the # she did not pick up. she said where are you calling from? i said my new cell and she said how come you got a phone.. so i said.. actually i got 3 of them she said ok.....wait how come you got 3.. then she figured it out, and when i told her which phone she got... she screamed in my ear... I LOVE YOU GUYS!!!!!!!.. this was her birthday gift and norm's father's day gift and my just because i am the mom gift...lol

I am off today so i decided to bake cupcakes for the father's day lunch at work tommorrow.. they are supposed to be lawnmowers.. (i work at home depot)

Of course we colored eggs... no i did not make chantal do it. she actually enjoys it and looks forward to it... just ask her!! this is only 1 of the dozens, we did 4!!

here are the 2 bunny cakes i made.. the orange one i took to norm;s cousin ricky's house on friday and the purple one i took to andreas house on sunday..... the next thing i want to learn is fondant...

Saturday afternoon we also went to the gym for the first time.. norm has decided he wants to be healthier, so he joined and i was his guest, then andrea is also a memeber so chantal was her guest.. we had a great time.. we worked out for about 45 minutes... it felt great!

WE HAVE HAD SUCH A BUSY DAY... TODAY WAS DAY ONE OF MY VACATION.. WE WENT TO SEYMOUR TO SEE THE FIELD OF FLAGS WHICH WAS SO EMOTIONAL.. IT IS FOR ALL THE PEOPLE THAT LOST THEIR LIFE IN AFGANISTAN AND IN IRAQ.. THEN WE TOOK CHANTAL AND ALLISON TO WALMART WHERE I HAD TO GET A COUPLE OF THINGS TO FINISH CHANTAL AND NORMS BASKETS AND THE EASTER BUNNY WAS THERE SO OF COURSE WE HAD TO GET A PICTURE

Saturday night i went out with some friends and chantal asked me if she could do my hair.. i said what the hell it is only hair.. she straightened it for me and this is what it looked like... i am unsure on how i liked it.... norm did not like it at all but he likes it after i spend an hr curling it... do not have time for that all the time..lol

well i gave her this book minus the pictures for her shower... she never filled it.. i finnally took it and printed the pictures and filled it for her.. what do you think?
