personal day

yesterday was chantals birthday she loved her cake!!! She is now 14 years old...oh my!! I took today off as a personal day...shh!!!! I have already did alot of the cooking i was up at 6 am today...ugh!! I am spending the day with my daughter and her best friend who is like another daughter... we are ordering take out for lunch, and we might do a photo shoot in the yard.. we will see.... I will post more later...maybe!!!

where were you.....

14 years ago today?? I was at my best friends graduation party and then we went to a carnival after that....Oh yeah and I was in labor.... That is right My baby will be 14 as of Tommorrow.... Holy cow.. I cannot believe it...I have to work during the day tomm. so I made her cake today... Here it is.. I saw this on someones blog a while ago and could not wait to make it.. this was the perfect time.... Chantal loves chocolate.. I am not a big chocolate person but this looks great to me also...... It was real easy to make and at under 10 bucks it was well worth it... This is only for us tommorrow,, we are having her party on saturday which is a birthday/ graduation party so that cake was ordered... hehehe
I probably will not be around until sunday because friday i have to work then i have to come home and do the cooking for saturday.. luckily andrea is doing some of the cooking, then sat is the party....

Wow it was a busy weekend and busy Monday... Saturday we went to a picnic at my sister's in laws.. We had a great time... Then On Sunday was Fathers Day so we went out to breakfast we were going to go on a hike but it started to pour so we hung out at home then I worked from 3 till 10:30.. Here is a pic of me and Chantal with Norm and his gifts.. A Guns n Roses cd and a Boston Red Sox shirt.. plus Chantal and her friend Allison made him fishing picture frames, and cards.. It was a wonderful day..
Then last night Chantal graduated 8th grade... Wow I cannot believe it.. It seems like only yesterday she was starting Kindergarden... Time goes soo fast.

Busy Day!!

Here is a picture from last Saturday.. I work for Home Depot and every month we do a kids workshop this month we did it at the Relay for Life.... It was like 97 degrees but it was for a good cause and we all had alot of fun....

How was everyone"s Saturday mine was pretty good... I had today off and we had a bbq at my sister's in laws (they loved the note cards btw) we got Chantals birthday/graduation present today but I cannot share because we have not given it to her yet.. Then we had to go buy Chantal some shorts what fun that was...ugh!!! Then we went to Pam and Floyds house and had pizza and we just got in.... I am exhausted.. Tommorrow morning we are taking Norm out for breakfast for Father's Day because I have to work tomm night...Then on monday night we have Chantal's graduation!!! Busy Busy Busy... C-ya tomm (maybe)

last week chantal's grade decided for each homeroom to choose a color and everyone would dress with that color... her color was green...btw that is a green and white pom pom in her hair... on the way to school she actually fixed it and used both pom poms and made it looki like pig tails.... that is so like her... she has such a silly dispostion i hope she never loses...
