finnally got some me time

I saw this yesterday on splitcoaststampers.com and I could not wait to try it... unfortunately I had to work yesterday so I had to wait till today... It was soo much fun to make. These are some pics from my sisters wedding... It was easier then I thought it was going to be... But nopw looking at these pics boy do I need to wash the windows..















How was everyones holiday weekend? I ended up working all weekend but we did go to a bbq on sunday night at our best friends house... we always have a lot of fun there.... and the food is always excellent.... We are going over there tonight for leftovers...yummy... Hey and i do not have to cook...lol
Right now I am getting ready for my Stampin Up party on Saturday night.. I will share pics when I get all the projects done... we are going to be doing embellishments that can be added to a card or a scrapbook page....

almost graduation

June 16th Chantal will graduate from 8th grade. I made 32 of these little guys for it.. They are hershey nuggets...The picture is lousy.. But it is a raining day so not much natural light....

Tonight we are having a yummy dinner.. I made a pork tenderloin baked in apples, and broccoli

cheese bake,, the house smells sooo good...

...ummmm! And for desert i made a pumpkin roll with cream cheese filling. I did not get as much done as i would have liked today... i cooked then i ordered some wedding pics from winkflash for myself, then i made the grad caps, and that is about it... Maybe tonight i will work on my daughters graduation gift!!! SSHHHH...lol...

Wow.. Almost end of May Already?

I cannot believe it is almost Memorial Day weekend.. Where is time going this year?
Thursday night I had my daughters spring concert at school it was wonderful! Then Friday I had the day off as well because Ihad to work the weeked.. So I scrapped with a friend and we did some shopping.. I am almost all done with christmas 07 pictures. woohoo!!! Then friday night we went grocery shopping.. 200 dollars later we left the store ( we were out of EVERYTHING!!)
Then yesterday Chantal had to be at school by 6 am, because they were going to a chorus competion..(they came in 3rd out of 18 groups..) and then they went to six flags..
I had to work from 6-3 and then we went and did some errands and stop for Gas............. The mini van took 63 DOLLARS!!!!! ugh!!!!!!!
Then r best friends called us who were staying at a hotel for their anniversary, and asked us to meet them for dinner at Bennigans... We decided to go it was great.. we had such a good time I am surprised they did not throw us out... But we had most of the restaurant to our selves because it was only 5 pm.. We brought our desert back to the hotel with them and we used the jacuzzi, then we left around 9 ish.. When we got home my sisters wedding pic had come in from WinkFlash which was excellent because i just ordered them on thursday.. Then Chantal called us around 10:20 to say they were 20 minutes away from the school so we went and picked her up.... It was a LONGGGGG day.. And today I have to work from 12-9...Just in time to watch Desperate Housewives when I get home...hehehehe
I also got Chantal's progress report yesterday in the mail.. She is doing great in almost everything... She has an average of 101.1 in algebra.. the highest grade in her eighth grade class... We are soo proud of her,, well i have to go get ready for work ttyl

wow! It is nice to have a day off without having to do something for my Sister's wedding.. Her wedding was May 3rd 2008..Here is a pic it is myself on the left and my sister the bride and my daughter on the right.. It is not the best pic but at least I got one there.....lol I have been busy today. We have my daughters spring concert at school tonight so I made baked chicken and noodles for dinner and homemade pumpkin pie for dessert.. Plus my daughet is graduating eighth grade next mos, plus her b day so I am making her a scrapbook of all the pics I have of her with my mother ( who passed away 2 years ago) my mom was like her best friend so I thought this would be special.. I will share some of the pages when I am done! So needless to say that is what I have been working on today and the last couple of days... It is only 8 1/2 by 11.... well let me get back to work .. I will post more later
