Hubby is feeling better!!!!

Every year on new years night we invite everyone over for dinner and games.. This year Norm said he wanted to make dinner and he wanted to make lasagna. i said ok... less for me to do i was happy... well after his surgery i did not think he would be up to people coming over let alone doing the cooking.. well he surprised me... he made the lasagna all by himself except for lifting the pot of noodles... i cannot wait till tomm night it looks deliscious. i made dessert... i made a sweet as kisses pie... and a lemon layer cake... from scratch...

Since the last couple of days i have been home taking care of hubby i was able to get some scrapping done while he was sleeping...these are some pics i took of my daughter and her best friend this past summer... i love how they came out and i am having soo much fun scrapping them. plus i get to use my new cricut cartridge (storybook) i love it....

how we spent Christmas......

Well Here are our christmas day pics... we spent it at the emergency room... And tommorrow morning Norm needs to have his gall bladder taken out... He got to the er at 6:30 am and did not get to a regular room until 5 pm... around 12 noon they took him out of the ER room and put him in a hallway because they were sooooo full.. He was sleeping peacefully when i left around 6ish... we did not even open any gifts . he feels terrible about ruining our christmas... i told him not to worry about it... but today was also day one of our vacation.... so much for that also... i told him there was plenty of time for that later...

Last night

Well I did a workshop at a scrap night at one of my friends school last night.. I think it went well... They invited me back to do the one they are having in January.. So I am psyched about that... I got 2 people to have a party after the holidays so hopefully those go well... Plus I got a couple of nice orders... Everyone had a great time... I demonstrated the dryer sheet technique... everyone loved it, especially since it was soo messy...lol
This morning i am working on a christmas garland to hang over my french doors and then i have to be in work at 1...yuck it was supposed to be my day off but i switched with someone.. oh well what are ya gonna do...

A FRIEND OF MINE AND I WENT TO A CLASS ON THESE LAST YEAR.. I FORGOT HOW MUCH FUN THEY ARE TO MAKE... MY DAUGHTER EVEN LIKED THEM AND SAID THEY LOOKED REAL... THAT IS A COMPLIMENT FROM A 14 YEAR OLD

last nights workshop

We had a small turnout but we had sooo much fun...Only 2 people showed up plus the hostess... it was one of the best parties i have had in a while just goes to show you never know... they loved the 2 cards i demoed.. And i have 2 parties booked... whoo hooo... these are the 2 cards.. first one is very easy just to show off the die...

this was the second card once they got warmed up showing how to do the brayer sky and the dryer sheet technique....

plus when i got home yesterday i had an email from a friend of a friend who has been to one of my parties.. asking me to particpate in a scrapbook night at her kids school and do a card with them... i am sooo excited......

hello everyone? how is everyone doing? been busy here.. i started a new position at work yesterday.. so i am learning new things yet again... I am now the front end supervisor... instead of the service desk supervisor,, i am up for a challenge.... i guess...lol
i have a stampin up workshop tonight at my friend pams house.. hopefully it goes well.. we are going to do christmas cards using the dryer sheet technique.... i will post pics later...
